Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Capture Analyst to identify and capture new business opportunities within the federal market portfolio. This individual will support the Growth and Executive Leadership teams to work through the BD and capture process, as well as collaborate across internal teams for proposal development support as needed. The BD/Capture Analyst’s responsibilities will include but is not limited to market strategic planning, market research, call planning, opportunity identification, capture planning, competitive analysis, and supporting proposal development, as well as assisting with a variety of other projects that will support marketing and business development efforts.

Tasks

  • Conduct industry, client, and competitive research and analysis
  • Identify opportunities that align to Precise core capabilities, solution offerings, and target markets
  • Develop and maintain client profiles
  • Responsible for updating CRM and related administrative activities. Oversees and ensures the accuracy of CRM data
  • Help facilitate the full Business Development lifecycle including long-term positioning, qualification, capture planning, proposal support, and post-submittal activities
  • Conduct industry, client, and competitive research and analysis
  • Coordinate meetings with customers and partners to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, milestones, etc.
  • Participate in capture activities to include opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, and working sessions
  • Conduct after action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions
  • Collaborate across teams to develop solutions and meet client requirements
  • Work closely with the proposal team to develop compelling and compliant proposals
  • Connect with potential clients to understand RFP needs, including pre-proposal conferences
  • Support the writing of white papers, RFI responses, and other proposal artifacts as assigned
  • Create presentation materials, briefings, and other marketing collateral as assigned
  • Support other business development activities and marketing activities as assigned

Qualifications/Experience

  • 2+ years of business development, capture, and/or proposal development experience supporting the public sector, including experience in customer relationship management and interaction with internal and external executive leadership
  • Familiarity with federal government acquisition
  • Experience in pipeline management or customer relationship management system.
  • Experience with market intelligence tools and databases, such as GovWin IQ, FPDS, USA Spending, as well as Sam.gov, and GWACS and GSA schedules portals
  • Must be a self-motivated, high-energy, organized individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize to meet critical deadlines
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency in analytical research, critical thinking, and problem-solving acumen
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills (interfacing with clients, partners, and interdepartmental teams) and clear communication style
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
