Business Development Coordinator
Job Description
As our new Business Development Coordinator, you will grow the customer communities at Newance and NEWaukee in particular from a sales operations perspective. You'll also handle sponsorship conversations and event follow ups.

A few key projects for you in year 1 will include:
- 40% - Manage CRM, reporting, data analysis, news and other research on current and prospective clients.
- 30% - Actively participate in Newance and NEWaukee community events such as founder events, conferences or other get togethers as an engaging representative of Newance and NEWaukee. Your goal isn't to sell anything at these events but we do want you to represent our brands both warmly and professionally.
- 20% - Solicit and engage sponsorship dollars for related community events. To be clear, yep this means talk to strangers and ask for money. The money will go to community events (not selling our services) and people are usually excited to participate in these efforts.
- 10% - We don't know yet! We're a small team so sometimes we need people to wear other hats. If you like variety, you'll love it.
We're looking for someone with:
- That elusive blend of strong attention to detail and the willingness to talk to strangers!
- 3+ years of professional experience ideally in sales or marketing but open to recruiters, project managers or others with the right gumption.
- Tech intuition. You'll need to be able to speak to how you've utilized technology and how you keep up with tech trends. If you've written scripts to automate something, you're practically hired on the spot.
- Home base in Milwaukee. This is a remote role but we like to get together and you'll host guests in our new HQ on a weekly basis.

- Base salary (50-60k) and commission plan with total OTE of 75 to 80k. Fully paid health/vision/dental and 401k match (4% at one year)
