Business Development Coordinator

Point72’s Business Development team is responsible for recruiting top long/short investment talent for our Firm

As the Business Development Coordinator, you will join our dynamic team to provide administrative support and assist with the execution of recruiting strategies. Specifically, you will:

• Maintain candidate data in the Firm’s applicant tracking system to ensure accurate and reliable data is available to support our process and reporting
• Coordinate with candidates and administer remote assessments
• Help the team run efficiently by managing phone coverage, setting up conference calls, gathering and submitting expenses, and other essential administrative activities
• Liaise with external recruiters and candidates on logistics, including interview scheduling
• Organize travel for team members and candidates 
• Greet candidates on-site and guide them through pre-screening activities 
• Partner with Compliance on applicable procedures and process

This is an entry level role, which provides the opportunity to learn about our Firm and recruiting in the hedge fund space. Specifically, we are looking for an assertive, self-motivated person with:

• A college degree
• 0-3 years administrative or recruiting experience
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in assessing and determining how to handle queries, calls and issues
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with all levels of staff
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

The base salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 annually and this role is eligible for overtime. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
