Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the creation and implementation of the business development strategy. This includes identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential partners, and overseeing the development and execution of business plans.
- Work closely with other members of the executive team to ensure that the company's overall strategy is aligned with its business development goals.
- Develop proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) to include working with other department heads, sales development reps, production engineers, and sales managers to coordinate account startup and transition service or product delivery.
- Study and understand the business environment and review emerging trends so NOV can exploit new opportunities ahead of the competition.
- Deliver presentations and conduct seminars and meetings for clients, vendors, and advisers.
- Apply pro-active, incisive management skills to maximize business efficiency, achieve cost reductions while maintaining a quality approach to commercial exploitation.
- Drive forward change initiatives which enhance business performance from both a corporate and customer perspective.
- Convert conventional attitudes, thinking, business processes and methodologies to accommodate the changing commercial and relationship management demands of customers.
- Build and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors.
- Attend regular industry networking events to promote NOV, continue relationship development and identify emerging trends.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Four-year degree in accredited University with technical or business focus preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Strong financial understanding of P&L statements
- Strong Excel skills
- Proven strategy development and implementation skills
- International travel required
