The Role
Amperity is seeking a Business Development Director, Global Strategic Alliances to source and materially influence pipeline generation and revenue in a defined sales territory by leveraging Amperity's Strategic Solution Partners. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sourced and materially influenced revenue from Amperity’s Tier 1 partners - Deloitte Digital and Slalom. This person will also work reactively with Tier 2 partners (Accenture, Capgemini to name a few) and encourage the type of business development that would position them to move to Tier 1 status. You will be a key player in the hyper-growth of an enterprise software company in the consumer marketing space by filling the sales pipeline with qualified sales opportunities. The Global Strategic Alliances team is vital as it connects sales and partner strategies together through superior execution and acts as the "tip of the spear" for the Go-To-Market outreach for an innovative approach based on machine learning to solve a problem that companies have been wrestling with for years. Interesting Problems
- Drive pipeline generation and revenue for an assigned sales territory by aligning prospect accounts and pipeline opportunities to being influenced or sourced by Amperity's Tier 1 Partners.
- Build meaningful relationships and commitment from Amperity’s Tier 1 Partners and position them for success in offering and providing services for Amperity’s platform
- Meet or exceed quarterly pipeline and revenue targets by helping the Amperity Sales team and Partner teams identify opportunities and close new business through Amperity’s Tier 2 Solution Partners.
- Build trusted relationships with sales leaders and partner relationship managers.Â
- Partner with Account Executives to share partner-related insights on target accounts to generate opportunities and act as the connective tissue between sales and partners.
- Execute this plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g account teams, pre-sales, services teams, BD, partner marketing, and other partner development resources - ie ISV, Technology, Cloud)
- Learn Amperity's Solution Partners GTM motions and become the glue between sales, accelerator groups (paid media), and partner teams so you can discuss a prospect account at any of Amperity's partners and know how they can help source or close new customers. Be a partner advocate with internal constituents like legal and finance
- Develop creative strategies and represent Amperity at partner-sponsored activities that drive customer engagement at events including conferences, Partner summits, roadshows, SKOs,Â
- Recommend new partner GTM strategies and products and work with legal, finance, and product development to bring these to life to grow our partner business (ex. Partner-led pilots, OEM opportunities, and consumption-based pricing)
- Maintain timely correspondence and follow through on action items.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
About You
- 8-12 years of sales or strategic alliance experience and a history for delivery revenue
- Experience working with Solution Partners (SIs, Agencies & Consultancies), Technology and/or Cloud Partners
- Can navigate the intricacies of different partners (Deloitte, Slalom, Cloud Partners) and the various GTM motions necessary to drive pipeline and relationships
- Understanding of the Marketing Technology ecosystem and the personas
- Self-motivated and driven. Looking for an opportunity where you can have an impact on growing a company and establish a critical go-to-market path
- Possess grit and determination; Competitive drive and ambition to meet and exceed goals.

Remote Available
Amperity has headquarters in Seattle and NYC. We are also currently hiring in CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MN, NJ, NY, OH, OR, TX, WA.Â
Compensation
Base Salary: $150,000 - $220,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training. For qualified new hires, we generally target the middle of this range.
Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.
Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position
