Job Description:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be an essential part of our company's growth and success by identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, presenting our products and services to customers and closing deals. You will work closely with our marketing and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention while also driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales prospecting and conducting market research to identify potential customers through cold calling, networking, and other lead-generation activities
- Relationship building and acting as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Development of product knowledge with a deep understanding of the products and services that HONK offers.
- Conducting persuasive product/service demonstrations and presentations in person and/or virtually showcasing the value of our products or services.
- Negotiating sales terms and conditions with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborating with marketing and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and deals in the company's CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a salesperson or in a similar sales role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is an advantage.
- Industry-specific knowledge (depending on the nature of the products or services) is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment - previous experience in parking technology or electronic payments will be considered a strong asset
