This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive - HoReCa Sales in India.

This is a dynamic field sales role focused on expanding the footprint of a fast-growing food product brand within the HoReCa ecosystem. You will be responsible for introducing chef-grade ready-to-cook solutions to restaurants, cafés, cloud kitchens, caterers, and other food service operators across Mumbai. The role is highly performance-driven, combining on-ground prospecting, product demonstrations, and relationship-building with key decision-makers such as chefs, owners, and procurement teams. You will play a direct role in driving product adoption, converting trials into long-term customers, and strengthening recurring revenue streams. The environment is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and field-oriented, offering strong autonomy and ownership of your territory. Accountabilities:

  • Identify, approach, and develop new business opportunities across restaurants, cafés, cloud kitchens, caterers, and food service businesses in Mumbai.
  • Conduct daily field visits to generate leads, build pipeline, and initiate product trials and tastings.
  • Organize kitchen demonstrations and sampling sessions to showcase product value and drive adoption.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, and procurement teams to ensure trust and long-term engagement.
  • Convert trial customers into recurring buyers and manage account retention through consistent follow-ups.
  • Track sales activities, customer feedback, reorder patterns, and pipeline progress to optimize conversion rates.
  • Achieve monthly targets related to sales volume, customer acquisition, and account retention.
  • Requirements:

    • 1–5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within HoReCa, FMCG food, or food supply industries.
    • Strong understanding of the restaurant and food service ecosystem in Mumbai.
    • Comfortable with extensive field-based work and daily in-person client visits.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Highly motivated, target-oriented, and resilient in a performance-driven environment.
    • Ability to work independently, manage territory planning, and meet daily activity goals.
    • Fluency in Hindi and English is required; knowledge of Marathi is an added advantage.
    • Prior network within restaurants, cafés, hotels, or catering businesses is a plus.
    • Familiarity with HoReCa procurement cycles and kitchen operations is desirable.
