We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Business Development Executive role to complement our lead generation engine in the prospecting, qualification, initiation, and cultivation of new business opportunities. This is a 100% remote role.  
 

Position Overview 
As a Business Development Executive at Capstone, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth by actively prospecting, following up on leads, and establishing initial contact with potential clients. This role requires an individual who approaches opportunities strategically, is ruthlessly efficient with their time, and is proactive and persistent in surfacing new business opportunities and progressing qualified deals. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and prioritize potential clients through targeted research, account-based marketing, email outreach, and networking. 
  • Campaign Follow-up: Complement our lead generation campaigns by evaluating output and proactively following up on qualified leads and inquiries. 
  • Prospect Engagement: Engage prospective clients to introduce Capstone’s offerings, assess the clients’ needs and pain points, establish trust and confidence, and move prospects through the sales funnel. 
  • Qualification: Conduct thorough qualification of leads to determine their fit with our solutions and their readiness to engage in the sales and solutioning process. 
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring a steady flow of prospects at various stages of the sales cycle. 
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts to position Capstone as a trusted partner. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal business partners – executive leadership, solutioning, and delivery – to engage the resources necessary to advance the sales motion. 
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts to management using CRM software. 
     

Who You Are  

  • Proven track record of success in hunting sales roles, with a focus on prospecting and lead generation, specifically in the technology services or IT consulting industry. Experience selling into the retail vertical preferred. 
  • Thoughtful and strategic with prospecting activities, targeting businesses and individuals with priorities and needs well-aligned to the Capstone delivery offerings. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects over the phone, email, and in-person. 
  • Independent, resourceful, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. 
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools for managing prospecting activities and tracking leads. Vocal about how best to tweak lead generation campaigns and content to generate more and better qualified leads.
