To fuel the momentum and demand for its successful Jumpstart Program, Bonterra is seeking an entrepreneurial, passionate team member to serve as an Impact Officer
While serving as the Impact Partner team's Impact Officer, you will work closely with the Impact & Sustainability Program Directors in uncovering new Foundation partnerships for Bonterra's Jumpstart Program and when needed will help support the Community Engagement Managers in filling new partner cohorts.
In this capacity, you will proactively engage prospective foundation partners through email and phone calls with the primary objective of setting up discovery calls for the Impact & Sustainability Program Directors.
- Serve as the Impact Partner team's point person for lead pursuit.
- Work closely with marketing to ensure lead generation campaigns are effectively implemented and you are prepared to follow up on all new leads being generated through the various marketing campaigns.
- Work all new leads in SF and SalesLoft with the goal of making 100 calls/week.
- As needed work with Community Engagement Manager to help fill cohorts for new partners.
- Participate in marketing planning discussions to ensure right plans and lead generation programs are in place to drive new discovery conversations and assist in growing new partnerships pipeline.
- Demonstrate proficiency in influential written communications that can engage and compel Foundations to engage with Bonterra in a discovery conversation about Jumpstart, think strategically and align foundation needs with Bonterra's capacity building programs.
- Provide suggestions and insights on new and more efficient ways to drive new partner opportunities.
Who You Are:
- You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- You have a minimum of 2 years sales experience.
- Experience working in the nonprofit sector in fund development and/or communications is a plus.
- You have experience with various types of sales techniques and a track record of over-achieving sales.
- You have experience presenting remotely on Zoom or in-person to large groups of people.
- Knowledge of working with grantmaking organizations a plus.
- Proven track record organizing communication plans.
- You have strong time management skills and have experience managing multiple tasks in a day.
- Experience working with Salesforce, Zoom, SalesLoft and Excel required.
