Business Development Intern

Code and Theory’s Remote Internship Program is ideal for rising college seniors, recent grads, and career changers who are looking for hands-on experience at a digital-first creative agency. 

We are now accepting applications for our remote, 12 week, paid internship program across many of our departments. 

Business Development Interns at Code and Theory collaborate with agency leadership to manage our pipeline of new business, shepherding opportunities from initial outreach or consultation through to closure.

Eligibility 

• You can be entering your senior year of undergraduate studies, a recent graduate, master's student, career changer, or reentering the workforce after taking some time off
• You must be currently based in the U.S.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate closely with business development, cross discipline teams, and agency leadership during the pitch efforts for opportunities
• Support in overseeing our pipeline of new business, maintaining and updating the CRM and new business archive 
• Support opportunity qualification efforts, evaluating the creative and business potential, and helping to develop a recommendation for how best to proceed in partnership with BD team
• Uncover and synthesize the information or research that is relevant to a proposal or pitch effort, including that which is provided by the client in the form of RFPs and briefing documents, along with the additional color that comes as a result of supporting in initial conversations/research
• Collaborate with production, strategy, tech, data and design teams during a pitch to help support any cross functional needs ie knowledge and material share
• Collaborate with the business development team on the creation and evolution of proposal, sales and marketing materials 
• Support the proposal creation effort, as well as that of any prospective materials or supplementary deliverables that may be necessary to successfully close opportunities (working under the direction of the CMO and Business Development Manager)
