Pediatric Associates was founded in Hollywood, FL in 1955. The Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is a growing team of Pediatricians and Pediatric Care Teammates who are excited to be part of the first nationwide Pediatric Primary Care Medical Home. PRIMARY FUNCTION: This role is a learning opportunity meant to support the business development opportunities pursued by Pediatric Associates and to explore employment opportunities at a fast paced, high growth healthcare organization.
REPORTS TO: Chief Strategy Officer
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None /Not Applicable
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: (This list may not include all of the duties that may be assigned.)
- Perform analyses specific to the acquisition of physician practice organizations
- Perform market analyses based upon publicly available and proprietary data
- Ability to synthesize data into an actionable story and proposal to senior members of the business development team
- Prepare presentations for distribution to senior members of the organization to describe business development opportunities
- Ad-hoc analyses as needed
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Working in an office environment. Involves frequent telephone interaction. May require sitting for long periods; also stooping, bending and stretching for files and supplies. Travel will be minimally required.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Adhere to all organizational information security policies and protect all sensitive information including but not limited to ePHI and PHI in accordance with organizational policy, Federal, State, and local regulations.
EDUCATION: High School degree (or equivalent) required; candidate is optimally either a candidate for a Bachelor's or Master's degree
EXPERIENCE:Academic course load and achievement commensurate with an opportunity of this nature
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Financial acumen, a basic understanding of accounting or financial statement analysis
