JOB DESCRIPTION

IMC Financial Markets is growing its business development team in Chicago. The Business Development Lead will work with the Managing Director of Business Development, external and internal stakeholders to grow our business in close collaboration with IMC’s Chicago trading team. The position will be based in Chicago with expectations for domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate positive relationships with IMC’s strategic partners including brokerage firms, exchanges, and industry organizations
• Prospect new business relationships
• Analyze retail broker order flow allocations
• Analyze IMC’s interaction with order flow and execution quality statistics and make recommendations based on data
• Act as an ambassador of IMC

Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of US options market structure
• Familiarity with US equities and futures market structure
• Detailed understanding of order routing workflows and best execution
• 5+ years of experience at an exchange, liquidity provider, broker, or comparable financial industry firm
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills
