Business Development Lead DFSS (Houston)

The Business Development Lead positionis a key Business Development role within TCS New Digital Finance and SharedServices (DFSS) Sales Unit responsible for executing regional businessdevelopment strategies to acquire target clients across industries. Candidatewill play a hunter role, responsible for acquiring new clients for TCS,expanding Service Footprint at New and existing customers leveraging DFSSSolutions. The candidate will leverage TCSs entire portfolio of DFSS & ITOutsourcing services for targeted firms. The positions primary responsibilityis to achieve new client acquisitions and expanding by leveraging DFSS servicesfootprint in the regions identified. The role works in collaboration with MarketBusiness Development Unit, Market development and Solution sales teams as eachunit plays a critical role in creating demand and capturing qualifiedopportunities.

Responsibilities• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.• Achieve lead generation, prospecting and otherbusiness development goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.• Develop strong, long-term relationships andreferrals with senior management at targeted firms• Work in close collaboration with TCS MarketUnit, Market development and solution sales teams to ensure that proposedofferings and services fully meet customers business and technology needs.• Provide support to customers during initialphases of an engagement. Follow up and ensure total client satisfaction throughthe life cycle of the relationship.• Support the teams market research andcompetitive positioning analysis in partnership with regional presales, marketing,and product development staff.• Adhere to all TCS business development, humanresource, and corporate ethical policies, standards, and guidelines.• Demonstrate strong personal communication andpresentation skills to establish interest, credibility, and trust.• Sales, New Business Development, Industry &Professional connections, Bid & Proposal Management, Deal Structuring, ContractManagement.• Experience selling to CFOs and FinanceOrganizations across Industry Segments, acquiring new clients (hunting),expanding existing Customers and selling Consulting, Digital Finance, BackOffice Operations, GBS Restructuring to Finance & HR Organizations.• Creates and qualifies new sales opportunities, identifiesnew customer needs/ business/ technology trends for potential offerings, closesdeals through a balanced negotiation on sizing, costing and pricing, actions asper the commitments given to clients to ensure Experience Certainty, designsthe opportunity/bid win strategies, ensures delivery of value messaging throughcompetitive sales messaging and takes responsibilities of large bids asassigned

Desired Skills and Experience • Sales & Business Development expertiseselling to Enterprise CFO & HR Organizations• Strong hunter profile with a proven track recordof success in selling technology outsourcing & digital services acrossindustries• Demonstration of a consistent over-achievementof client acquisition / expansion targets.• At least 12-15 years of experience in selling thefull spectrum of IT Services including Application, Infrastructure, Digital& with primary focus on Business Process Services (Finance & SharedServices) - within the region, working in a leading IT / BPS services firms inmultiple vertical/industry segments.• Strong local contact base and access to alumni,local associations, indus
