Business Development Leader

Allegion is seeking an energetic Business Development Leader to help identify and execute fast moving M&A projects, partnerships and investments aligned to our vision and strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development, strategic account management, pipeline development and partner management. The position reports directly to the America's Vice President of Business Development and Strategy and will work closely with the America's leadership team.

The Business Development team is organized as a team of high-impact professionals who are interchangeable across different disciplines. You will help to develop and manage the top of funnel pipeline, partnership, and investment identification activities. You will partner with a BD/M&A transactional team that will support your efforts in financial modelling, due diligence, integration planning and the closing process.

What You Will Do:

• Grow and support the development of a strategic opportunity pipeline focused on M&A, investments, and partnerships. In your work, you will build relationships and work closely with investment banks, private equity partners, and strategic business partners.
• You will partner closely with business leaders on strategy development including identifying strategic gaps, evaluating build vs. buy options and identifying potential acquisition targets.
• You will support cross-functional teams performing due diligence and developing business cases.
• With the help of the M&A transaction team you will evaluate company financials and participate in the generation of comprehensive financial models for a senior executive audience.
• You will support the acquisition process from analysis to due diligence to closing.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Strong business development and partner management skills
• Ability to manage and develop a strong opportunity pipeline
• Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis
• Experience in M&A and/or investment analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 8+ years sales and business development experience, or related field
• Knowledge of and existing relationships with industry clients in the markets we serve
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

The expected Base Salary Range: $110,900 - 205,900. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
