Your Role and Responsibilities
A Business Development Leader-Cybersecurity Services role within IBM Consulting- Cybersecurity Services means providing industry-leading solutions to help our clients face the challenges of cloud security advanced threats compliance and privacy and mobile and remote security. It also ensures you’re continuously developing – personally and professionally – to stay at the forefront of industry trends and remain as the trusted advisor our clients’ success depend on.
We are looking for new team members to be a catalyst for revenue and cash flow growth for the IBM Consulting – Cybersecurity Services portfolio. This includes expanding existing IBM Cybersecurity clients and new account penetration. You’ll work closely with clients and business partners existing account partners from other growth platform/service lines to develop relationships understand their needs earn their trust and show them how IBM’s consultative solutions will provide transformation while delivering value to their business. You will grow retain and fuel new logo revenue opportunities from opportunity identification to deal progression close and customer consumption. This will include collaborating with the broader IBM sales ecosystem from Marketing to Sales and technical colleagues to IBM Business Partners to build sales campaigns and incremental pipeline.
PS: The territory for this position is Thailand
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Manage the IBM Cybersecurity services business development and sales activity in named Accounts (“Cluster”) and other strategic accounts in the region
- Manage Sales objectives for an assigned territory
- Forecast and sales and Revenue projections.
- Executive and Client presentation development
- Interlock with Technical and Delivery teams to drive Qualified Opportunities to Close
- Interlock with Security Brand and Go to Market Teams on Account planning and Business Development
- Tracking and completion of post-signature IBM Contract registration processes.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 3-5 years of business development or sales experience with which at least 1 year in consultative sales
- Strong Communication skills : Senior level executive presence and presentation skills in both written and verbal communications.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into client solution and actions.
- Candidate must be self-starter well organized and strong team player
- Proven track record of success in sales with emphasis on new client acquisition.
- Demonstrable application of business and commercial acumen communicated at all levels to show the operational impact and financial value of IBM solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills that are equally engaging compelling and influential.
- Depth and breadth of knowledge regarding the Cybersecurity market in order to consult and advise and quickly grow your reputation as your clients’ credible trusted advisor. (Understanding of IBM’s standalone Cybersecurity services offerings as well as integrated offering and solutions)
