Business Development Manager
Job Description
As part of the Waystar Strategic Alliances Team, the Manager of Business Development is responsible for identifying strategic relationships to help facilitate the integration and indirect sales of Waystar products through technology vendors. This position will collaborate with Technology, Product, Marketing and Sales. Concurrently, the Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving bookings through Partner and Channel related sales. This Manager will have a solid background working with technology businesses and complex arrangements to drive meaningful revenue. This position will require the ability to work with multiple disciplines across all Waystar departments to ensure objectives are met. The Candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and provide concise responses to complex inquiries.

At least 5-7 years working technology organizations with track record of success in driving revenue through Channels
Clear and effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to understand complex technical processes to sell, lead, and support Partners
Adept at building and modeling financial models for highly complex commercial engagements
Ability to succeed in a high functioning, results-driven team.• Advocate for API's and partner integration• Strong time management, analytical skills, and troubleshooting skills.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a group environment and independently.
Bachelor's degree required

What you'll be doing:
- Work directly with VP of Business Development on partnerships and sales
- Stand up formal strategy and identified partner opportunities for Waystar and work with internal constituents to ensure readiness
- Create and manage operational metrics and meeting cadence with the VP of Business Development
- Build formal pipeline of partners and revenue/bookings visibility
- Negotiate ND partnership agreements and see them through to revenue
- Educate and communicate BD objectives and responsibilities internally
- Achieve bookings objectives set in the Waystar 2022 plan
