Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to support our growing internal team here at Coppei, an Exadel Company. This position should be driven by meaningful relationships, results, and an excitement to join a fast-growing consulting company solving business and technology problems for our customers.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, customer engagement, client services, or account management
  • University degree, preferably in a relevant field (economics, business, finance, marketing, engineering)
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships and hold a client-centric mentality
  • Experience selling solution-based engagements 
  • Works well both in an individual and collaborative setting 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in the technical consulting industry and developing new business in this field
  • Ability to drive growth across various industries 
  • Strategic mind set with a drive to follow through tactically 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted outreach plan —identify key companies and prospects across North America, key individuals and teams within each organization, and establish value-based relationships with these prospects
  • Consistently research industry and policy news; connect relevant trends with research needs and Coppei’s consulting capabilities across a range of organizations  
  • Collaborate with internal teams in the development of proposals, presentations, and external client meetings
  • Partner with account management, solution and practice leads to define the right solution for our clients
  • Be involved with the curation and creation of go to market strategy 
  • Understand client’s vendor management and procurement process, create new contracts, and follow up on outstanding contracts 
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the consulting services and become proficient at articulating and showcasing these services which could include development of marketing materials (e.g., white papers, case studies, etc.)
