Position Overview

As a Business Development Manager you will be instrumental in expanding Axelera AI's market presence in Southern Europe driving business sales generating leads and acquiring new clients. Collaborating closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) System Integrators and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) you will identify opportunities and develop market traction in specific verticals. Reporting to the VP of Sales & Customer Success you will execute the company's go-to-market strategy closing design wins within customers and partners in the Edge AI market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish maintain and expand relationships with assigned leads and prospects within each market in the Southern Europe region.

  • Develop new leads and prospects in Southern Europe utilizing a look-alike approach to maximize revenue.

  • Guide leads and prospects through the entire sales process from identification and qualification to closure.

  • Establish relationships with partners to accelerate market penetration.

  • Articulate the company's value proposition and differentiators in a competitive landscape staying dedicated to market intelligence.

  • Promote Axelera AI’s products and services at meetings conferences and industry events traveling within the region as required.

  • Accurately maintain customer data in the company’s CRM tool on a weekly basis.

  • Collaborate with product marketing and marketing communication to create success stories in selected markets.

  • Collect product solutions requirements including potential new business models to penetrate selected markets.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IoT and/or AI Business Development sales at the regional level in one or more of the following industrial markets: Retail Manufacturing Surveillance.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales with a solid technical background in industrial hardware and edge computing knowledge essential for success.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced distributed working environment consistently overachieving target quotas with flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile.

  • You're passionate about growing business and making a significant impact in the world.

  • You're obsessed with engaging customers and partners delivering excellent customer satisfaction.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with additional language fluency in one of the region-relevant languages required (French preferred; Spanish Italian Portuguese).

  • Residing in Southern Europe is highly advantageous.
