Grow your career as a Business Development Manager within Trisept Solutions, one of our 14 industry-leading brands and represent VAX VacationAccess in the leisure travel industry. In this role you will establish and expand strong relationships and mutually beneficial partnerships with various vacation-related businesses to drive advertising sales revenue. You will also support the advertising sales process and lead generation.

A successfulBusiness Development Manager will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel industry clients (suppliers)
  • Cold call target clients and deliver elevator pitches
  • Engage with each client to understand their brand, products, and strategic objectives
  • Conduct presentations and effectively communicate the value proposition of VAX VacationAccess
  • Oversee the launch and ongoing performance of client campaigns and resolve issues as they arise
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and make recommendations to clients
  • Effectively manage all communication regarding clients, internally and externally
  • Elicit feedback from clients and collaborate with the VAX team to identify new opportunities for revenue growth
  • Represent VAX VacationAccess at industry events
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue goals
  • Competitor list - who is spending in other trade media- identify those not spending with VAX - target
  • Salesforce management and analysis/reporting, data entry
  • Attend trade shows and conferences for sales and or trade show booth
  • Qualify inquiries to identify solid leads - set up discovery call with sales
  • Research potential suppliers - help identify correct contacts.
  • Monitor advertising supplier's competitor adv to see opportunity to pitch them
  • Create customized proposals for clients to accomplish their goals using digital media assets on VAX VacationAccess
  • Coordinate/prep prior to tradeshows - setting appointments, follow up, targeted collateral, marketing graphic for signature and LI

A successfulBusiness Development Manager will have:

  • Bachelor's degree plus minimum 5 years' experience in an account management role preferably in the travel industry ; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships that are mutually beneficial; established travel-industry related contacts are a major plus.
  • Digital media sales experience using a consultative approach with the ability to meet/exceed aggressive sales goals.
  • Manage client relationships, media negotiations and ensure satisfaction with responsive account management.
  • Ability to listen to a client's goals and build a program using VAX VacationAccess and Trisept Solutions product capabilities to accomplish them.
  • Demonstrated creative and innovative thinking to identify sales opportunities and promote them internally and externally.
  • Being able to travel 10-25% is crucial for this role. Travel consists of attending sales appointments, industry events, trade shows and supplier functions.
