• Fresh Truck mobile markets bring affordable, healthy food to Boston neighborhoods;
• Fresh Connect is a pre-paid debit card and analytic platform that enables healthcare providers to cover the cost of healthy food for patients and measure related health impacts.

Position Description

About Fresh is searching for a Business Development Manager, reporting to the Director of Partner Solutions, that will guide our team’s strategy and processes. This includes managing both our existing partnership pipeline and cultivating new partnerships, designing Fresh Connect nutrition access programs that meet our customer’s strategic objectives, leading the contracting process, monitoring and evaluating food care industry trends, and working cross-functionally with Product and Customer Success to communicate program scope, timelines, and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day operations of Business Development
• Create business development tools that support growth, improve sales operations, and embed best practices into partnership strategy
• Lead program scoping and design process with prospective customers
• Proactively identify new partnerships and outreach to decision-makers, screen potential partnerships, facilitate introductory meetings, and maintain/update pitch resources
• Manage prospect engagement and communications including scheduling meetings, documentation/notes, tracking next steps and follow-up
• Guide the development of sales performance metrics and reporting
• Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with partners, leadership, and stakeholders to discuss strategy
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing and communication strategies
• Maintain and share knowledge through professional development opportunities, networking, events, and presentations

Who you are

• 5+ years of customer-facing or business development experience, preferably in healthcare or digital technology
• Proficient in MS Office, project management tools (e.g., Asana), and customer relationship management tools (e.g., Salesforce)
• Process oriented leader with a bias towards action and testing out new approaches
• Exceptionally organized and attentive to detail, with a passion for planning and prioritizing
• Great attention in written documentation and in the analytical review of data
• Self-starting with a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial drive, service mentality, and ability to work autonomously and in a multicultural, multifunctional team
  • Natural relationship builder with high energy and excellent communication skills

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

About Fresh requires its Colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.

• If you are vaccinated, you are required to have received at least one COVID-19 shot prior to your first day of employment and to provide proof of your vaccination status within the first 30 days of your employment. For the two COVID-19 shot regimen, you will be required to provide proof of your second COVID-19 shot within the first 60 days of your employment.
• Failure to provide timely proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status will result in the termination of your employment with About Fres religious belief, you will be required to apply for a reasonable accommodation within the first 30 days of your employment in order to remain employed with About Fresh. As a part of this process, you will be required to provide information or documentation about the reason you cannot be vaccinated. If your request for an accommodation is not approved, then your employment may be terminated.
