Description
If you are looking to further your sales career within a fast-growing and MultiTechnology SaaS platform, then this Business Development Manager role is for you. In this position, you must have a breadth of knowledge to support the sales cycle process, be committed to hiring, developing, and retaining top talent, and have a desire to lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to execute goals. This role will be in the office five days/week.
What You Will Do: β€’ Hire, onboard, and train the Business Development team.β€’ Comfortable in leading cold call training sessions.β€’ Act as a coach and mentor for the business development team.β€’ Educate reps on the complex sales cycles, including prospecting, qualifying, strategizing, and closing transactions.β€’ Strategize engagement plans for key prospects.β€’ Manage team-level sales activities through Salesforce reporting.β€’ Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance business development strategies.β€’ Collaborate across departments to help develop growth and product knowledge (Marketing, Product, etc.)β€’ Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.β€’ Continuously seek ways to optimize and improve business development processes and strategies.β€’ Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and partnerships.β€’ Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with partners and industry group contacts to facilitate lead generation and brand awareness. β€’ Facilitate webinars with industry partners.
What You Will Need to Be Successful: β€’ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SaaS, B2B, or enterprise software sales management.β€’ Experience managing a business development team.β€’ Successfully sold enterprise software to Fortune 1000 companies.β€’ Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach with a focus on building relationships with clients.β€’ Closed complex sales cycles in competitive markets.β€’ Partner Relationship Managementβ€’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, economics, marketing, or related field.
