quip Aligners - a near invisible way to straighten your teeth - launched to quip customers and in select Target stores earlier this year. quip Aligners combine the best of at-home delivery with professional oversight. All quip Aligner cases are overseen by a Board Certified Orthodontist, and all patients visit a dental practice for comprehensive records before starting treatment.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager - Aligners to help grow the quip Aligners network of dental practices around the country. Working closely with the Head of Services at quip, and Director of Dental Sales at quip, you will develop a prospecting and outreach strategy to drive leads, qualify prospects, conduct sales meetings either remotely or in person, and work with cross-functional teams to onboard practices to the quip platform.

The Business Development Manager - Aligners will be expected to travel 25-50% of the time, predominantly in the months leading up to opening a new Metro market. 

Base Salary: $70-85k + Sales Incentive 

This range represents anticipated base salary range for this position, in addition to competitive benefits and equity (as applicable). We carefully assess and consider several factors with each candidate, including location, role-related knowledge, experience and skills. Compensation may vary based on these considerations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Work collaboratively with Provider Marketing team, Provider Sales team, and cross-functional partners to develop a strategy, respond to inbound leads, and generate outbound leads
  • Responsible for calling on small, midsize & enterprise accounts
  • Convert prospective dental practices and DSOs to become a quip Aligners Partner Practice
  • Engage in continuous follow up and outreach to our provider base; build outreach cadences to automate communication flow with both existing accounts and new business
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market opportunities & current events pertaining to the dental space
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of all of quip’s provider facing / focused initiatives, including cross-functional work with internal teams

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience. Dental, medical, or healthcare sales preferred
  • Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Strong comfort with technologies, preferably Dental Practice Management softwares
  • A desire to make a direct and tangible impact on a rapidly growing company
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
