Proconex is the exclusive Emerson Impact Partner for Emerson Automation Solutions in the Mid-Atlantic region. We provide a full portfolio of Process Automation Control Systems, Valves and Control Devices, and related technologies and services to a range of customers—in the Life Sciences, Chemical, Power, Refining, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Paper, Metals, and other industries, as well as commercial enterprises and campus facilities. The ideal candidate is resourceful and driven, with a competitive spirit and strong sales acumen to penetrate new customers within multiple industries and expand existing accounts beyond life sciences, such as Chemical, Power, Refining, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Paper, Metals, and other industries, as well as commercial enterprises and campus facilities. Convert qualified leads into bookings by engaging with new Proconex customers. Apply creative approaches and use our broad portfolio of Emerson services, technologies, and solutions to gain new clients.
The ideal sales leader is a value communicator and acts as a client partner by leveraging expertise and experience in the customers’ businesses to facilitate an increase in the volume, speed, and certainty of the projects, systems, and compliance assurance they deliver to their business. Experience developing outcome-based opportunities around industrial software products and consultancy services.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Develop sales in new accounts and drive bookings in support of the company’s business plan.
- Expand business at assigned accounts with IT and Emerson automation services and technologies.
- Leverage existing relationships within Proconex sales teams to expand services and additional solutions
- Target competitive displacement of automation and IT systems at new and existing accounts
- Work closely with cross functional teams (digital sales, solution architects) to define and execute on targets and lead conversions.
- Network and build strong Industry relationships to maximize sales territory growth.
- Work with the technology & services teams’ to accurately maintain sales forecast, achieve quarterly and yearly orders/revenue targets.
- Ensure highest standards in client interactions (solution positioning & presentations, proposal response, etc.)
- Align with broader organization (Marketing/Service) to ensure customer needs are met to maximize Proconex business value
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience selling to mid-level and upper-level managers in the manufacturing process industries and/or IT organizations. The right candidate will display the following competencies: Communication, Organization and Planning.
