An international leader in customs and cross-border trade services is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in the French market. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and positioning complex customs solutions as strategic enablers of global trade. You will operate in a fast-moving, international environment where regulatory complexity creates continuous commercial opportunities. Working closely with internal experts and international teams, you will translate customer needs into tailored, value-driven solutions. This position combines strategic thinking with hands-on sales execution, requiring strong ownership of your pipeline and results. Accountabilities:

  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and activity tracking
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries through value-based and consultative selling
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the full sales cycle
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade fairs, and networking opportunities to expand market presence
  • Collaborate with internal teams and international offices to support cross-border opportunities and shared growth initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify new commercial opportunities
  • Deliver presentations, reports, and pipeline updates to management using data-driven insights
  • Negotiate and close deals by aligning customer needs with tailored customs solutions
  • Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in a B2B environment
    • Fluent in French with strong communication skills in English
    • Proven track record of winning new business and driving revenue growth
    • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
    • Experience using CRM systems and sales tools, along with strong Microsoft Office proficiency
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional and international teams
    • Strong commercial mindset with a focus on results, accountability, and ownership
    • Interest in international trade, logistics, or regulatory-driven industries is an advantage
