The company is at a pivotal point in its development and plans to hire a Business Development Manager to manage and support its partnerships including payments & financial services, growth, and driver partnerships.
About The Team
The Business Development team at Gopuff is responsible for driving meaningful growth to Gopuff's business through strategic partnerships. We're a nimble team of owners that get to spearhead some of the highest-leverage projects at Gopuff, working closely with external partners and our internal cross-functional counterparts.
About The Role We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help build and execute partnerships that create impactful business and revenue growth. This position serves as a key member of the BD team-serving as the partner's primary point of contact, and advocating for the partner across the Gopuff organization to achieve mutual success. This position is responsible for deepening the partner relationship and continuously adding value by executing the Gopuff strategy. You will lead execution and go-to-market strategy for the company's largest partnerships. You naturally gravitate toward using data and insights to change viewpoints on the client side. You are an analytical thinker who enjoys creative problem solving and understands how to scale, playbook, and iterate partnerships. You are able to lead net new deal negotiations and renewals.
Gopuff takes pride in creative problem solving and in-person collaborating to make quick and informed decisions. This role will have a hybrid work schedule, where you will be able to showcase your creativity and build strong relationships with teams in a cross functional manner three days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) from one of our 8 hub locations!

You Will:
    • Support all aspects of partnership go-to-market, ensuring that both parties hit their timelines prior, during, and after launch. Establish goals to determine the ultimate success of the partnership
    • Collaborate with our Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams throughout the partnership process - to align on strategy/vision, and to ensure deals are not just signed but successfully launched and executed.
    • Serve as the day-to-day contact for the partner, and ensure that both Gopuff and the partners' goals are being met
    • Work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure integration implementations for our partners are seamless, effectively maintained and appropriately evolving
    • Build relationships with cross-functional leadership across Gopuff to ensure tight alignment on strategy and execution of our partnerships
    • Maintain and monitor key performance metrics for each partner, provide regular reviews with senior leadership internally and externally
    • Work closely with the team to strategically identify, map and evaluate new partnership opportunities and determine if they help Gopuff further strategic objectivesInterface regularly with senior leadership - internally and externally - regarding plans and ongoing performance.

You Have:
    • You have 6+ years of experience in strategic partner management, business development or a partner facing role
    • You enjoy solving problems with internal and external partners and have the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
    • You have experience working with product and tech teams
    • You have demonstrated the ability to logically frame a complex problem, provide the analysis required to answer the question, and create a solution
    • You are comfortable in a rapidly evolving business environment
    • You have excellent verbal/written communication and are effective at delivering executive-level presentations
    • You are an exceptional cross-functional collaborator and enjoy bringing internal stakeholders togetherYou have experience in either payments, loyalty, or growth partnerships
    • You are analytically driven and will apply a quantitative approach to opportunity sizing and ongoing deal performance

Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we'd reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. For additional information on this role's compensation package, please reach out to the designated recruiter for this role.
Salary Range (varies based on a cost of labor index for geographic area within United States) : $108,000 - $181,100 USD annually
