Business Development Representative
Job Description
Fox Robotics Business Development Representative is an exciting and dynamic role in our fast-growing world of robotics and warehouse automation. As a Business Development Representative you will be in-charge of pipeline lead generation and responding to and qualifying marketing generated leads and outbound prospecting. You will uncover our customer’s business needs, communicate our value proposition to drive interest in Fox Robotics’ warehouse automation solutions. This is a full-time position that will require a high level of travel (minimum of 50 percent travel is required). This is an opportunity to join a fast growing start up on the frontlines of delivering innovative warehouse solutions.Â

- Excellent written/face to face communication both customer-facing and internal-facing
- Professionalism and integrity to communicate and work with employees at all levels of the organization
- High degree of personal integrity and a willingness to accept accountability
- Willingness to work in warehouse environments (Ex. Refrigeration, ambient and outside temperatures)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business or related field
- 2+ years experience in lead qualification and development building sales pipelines
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in B2B sales or marketing environments
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM
- Enthusiastic, outgoing personality
- Intelligent - fast learner and very capable of articulating value
- Collaborative nature - desire to help others’ succeed
- Potential travel for trade shows and events
- Qualify marketing leads to drive a growing sales pipeline
- Research companies and prospects,
- Develop relationships with prospects early in their process to educate and inform
- Collaborate with Sales & Customer Success
- Execute early discovery calls and warm introductions
- Listen actively and direct conversations to learn about prospect environment
- Develop concise summary of the prospect’s goals
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure ongoing prospect communications
- Tell customer stories to deepen prospect conversations & understanding
- Execute prospecting activities with energy and conviction (cold calls, cold emails, trade shows, etc)
- Tech startup experience
- Familiarity with automation and mobile robots
- Familiarity with warehousing and logistics
- Experience with CRM, Salesforce, and Google G-Suite
- Work with robots every day
- Experience rapid career growth inside a rapidly growing startup
- Build relationships with key customers in warehouse automation
