About the Role 


As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will focus on helping meet company revenue and business goals by performing outbound prospecting to create opportunities and, ultimately, new customers. As a member of the Sales team, you will work closely with members of the Marketing team and the Revenue Operations team. While the title of this position is BDR, we intend to develop you into a GTM generalist role, with potential promotion paths into Sales, Customer Success, or Marketing.

What we can expect from you

  • Identify potential customers and generate new leads through various tactics including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking;
  • Meet or exceed qualified opportunity quota every month;
  • Meet or exceed daily activity expectations;
  • Partner with the RevOps to turn experiments into scalable processes;
  • Work closely with the teams to develop and refine our go-to-market strategy;
  • Strive to continuously improve your sales development process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices;
  • Actively participate in the respect of all practices and security policies of the company. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or part-time experience in sales, customer service, or marketing is a plus but not required.
  • Participation in relevant coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities related to business development or sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Humility in development and urgency in learning.
  • Ability to conduct basic market research.
  • Local to Austin.
