Description:

This is your opportunity to be part of a newly formed sales team at a well-established social technology organization. As a Business Development Representative at Brand Networks, you will play a key role in accelerating revenue growth by developing new business relationships with a particular focus on agency partnerships. Through a consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach, you will handle early-stage reach-out and conversations to qualify prospects as sales opportunities.

Success In This Role Means:

  • Researching, identifying, and prospecting new business opportunities
  • Successfully set up quality introductory meetings with prospects
  • Developing an understanding of the prospect's business, determine if Brand Networks suite of solutions offers a good fit
  • Educating and influencing target customers to choose Brand Networks as their preferred social technology partner
  • Meeting or exceeding quarterly meeting, lead, and revenue targets

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Brand Networks BDR lead on a target list of Agency and client direct accounts in order to drive new business by leveraging Brand Networks portfolio of solutions
  • Leverage customer success stories to win new customers and drive revenue
  • Drive strategic marketing conversations with marketers and agencies to define objectives and provide recommendations
  • Develop a constant pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Create customized, solution-oriented presentations and product demonstrations that align Brand Networks value proposition with customer-specific marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers (technology, media, client solutions, etc.) to grow revenue across product and service portfolios
  • Identify industry best practices and scale them across your customers

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of business development or sales experience with a proven track record of client engagement skills including prospecting, and relationship-building
  • A strong knowledge base of the tech landscape, competition, and emerging trends
  • Consultative sales experience with the ability to strategically position BN in the greater context of a Brand’s larger social marketing and advertising investment
  • Leadership credibility and ability to work in small teams with internal and external stakeholders
  • Positive attitude and a team player
