We’re rapidly growing and looking for talented individuals to help us change the landscape of small business financing.

We are looking to hire a Business Development Representative who can identify and engage the right executives at specific enterprise accounts whose goals and business metrics can be positively impacted by our data. You will research targeted companies to map Enigma’s value proposition to their stated business goals to secure interest and commitment for a sales discovery call.

The Role:

As a Business Development Representative at Enigma, you’ll be responsible for generating sales qualified leads for our account executives through directly outbounding specific executive targets. You will also be responsible for assisting the account executives in closing those opportunities that you source.  As the initial sales contact point for our Go To Market team you will work closely with your colleagues in content and demand generation to help evolve our messaging and provide immediate follow up to potential prospects who have interacted with our marketing content.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Be comfortable engaging new contacts outside their existing network
  • Be highly collaborative, coachable and motivated to learn, grow and win 
  • Work with Product and Demand Generation to develop messaging that educates our prospects and accelerates our marketing funnel 
  • Leverage Enigma’s rich data about small businesses to create compelling, personalized, written and verbal messaging and for our buyers

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Bring 1-3+ years of professional experience in sales, inside sales, or business development
  • Have demonstrated a natural curiosity, drive and/or passion for communicating with new contacts outside their existing network
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a highly trainable mindset, as well as a high degree of self motivation

Bonus points if you:

  • Have worked for data or fintech companies

Salary Range: $80,000-$150,000

A note on salary ranges: we pride ourselves on paying competitively for our size and industry. Salary is one piece of a total Enigma compensation package that includes additional benefits and opportunities. All of our compensation packages include equity because we believe 100% of Enigma employees should have the option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from the value we’re creating together
