Bluesight is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to work closely with sales team members and marketing to develop new business opportunities to drive overall revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion to educate establish value-based customer relationships and an ability to collaborate with prospective clients. We’re looking for someone who can drive revenue results through lead generation and new opportunity creation. This position will primarily call on the hospital C-suite and pharmacy leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team to identify and source potential leads using referrals from existing customers and strategic cold outreach

  • Understand hospital pharmacy challenges and pain points and be able to articulate how Bluesight can help them

  • Establish new business relationships with potential customers to facilitate a seamless handoff to sales executives

  • Document track and monitor all leads and activities in Salesforce

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 3-5 years of customer facing experience preferably sales or in a sales department

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills via phone and email

  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of a company in an articulate and professional manner

  • Strong intellectual curiosity listening and empathy skills

  • Effective time management skills: ability to plan prioritize and organize a diversified workload with strong attention to detail

  • High energy and achievement driven

  • Passion for helping customers solve complex problems with innovative technology

  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce Hubspot and /or other sales engagement platforms a plus

$50000 - $60000 a year

The standard base pay range for this role is $50000 - $60000. In addition to a base salary this position is also eligible for uncapped commission based on meeting / exceeding assigned quotas with the expected OTR of $75k+. Actual amounts and salary will vary depending on position offered experience performance and location.

This position is a remote position and open to applicants in the continental United States.
