Business Development Representative
Job Description
CMP Research is a start-up within Customer Management Practice, the leading community, research, and events engine for executives focused on customer experience. CMP Research is a new business unit focused on delivering research and advisory services to Fortune 500 and FTSE1000 customer contact executives.
Responsibilities for the role:
- Work cross-functionally to engage stakeholders, act as a custodian of our brand, and be a champion of our international customer base.
- Prospecting, Networking, and Lead Generation (80%)
- Administrative Sales Support (20%)
- Experimentation with outreach and campaign strategy to yield maximum results
- Influencing business development and client service processes
- Cross-functional collaboration with CMP Research product and marketing leaders
- Representation of the CMP Research brand in-person at trade shows
Requirements for success:
- Comfortable calling, contacting, and marketing revolutionary insights to high-level customer service executives
- Ability to write professional and effective business development copy per respective sales stage
- Familiarity with B2B sales
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with the LinkedIn platform
- Familiarity with OSC and Seamless.AI is a plus
