We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team at Interapt. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying and engaging with Fortune 500 Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) to promote and sell our customized tech apprenticeship solutions.

This person should be as passionate and enthusiastic about our organization's mission as we are; someone with an understanding of the importance this work has in driving sustainable growth through boosting customer diversity & sales by forging strong relationships with clients.

Lead Generation

  • Devise and implement creative lead generation strategies to identify and target Fortune 500 CTOs.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, industry challenges, and potential clients.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and build long term relationships.

Client Engagement

  • Initiate contact with CTOs through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of Interapt's tech apprenticeship solutions.

Relationship Building

  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop personalized outreach strategies.

Sales Presentations

  • Deliver compelling presentations that showcase the benefits and customization apprenticeship programs.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns effectively.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Provide feedback to the leadership team regarding market demands and opportunities.

Sales Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Generate regular reports on lead generation and sales activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Familiarity with workforce development, apprenticeship programs, or tech education is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to speak with clients and community leaders.
  • Ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Expereince using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant business tool
