Ceribell deploys a cloud-linked, portable electroencephalogram (EEG) device to assess brain waves in minutes to identify the occurrence of seizures in emergency rooms and intensive care units. The Ceribell system is comprised of a brain stethoscope that converts brain waves into sound, enabling nurses and doctors to quickly diagnose seizures in order to more quickly administer live saving therapies. Ceribell received the first ever FDA 510(k) clearance for a digital seizure detection algorithm, and is growing its customer base and revenue rapidly. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be responsible Inside Lead Generation for building a pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound qualification. You will help generate qualified leads that result in new business, supporting our scaling efforts and contributing to the success of our Sales team. We are looking for a driven professional with sound business acumen, technical aptitude, and natural sales instincts to join our fast-growing sales team.
The essential functions will consist of, but not limited to the following:
- Identify and convert sales qualified leads (SQLs) into demo’s or discovery calls
- Work toward achieving monthly and yearly goals
- Establish rapport on the phone and back it up with confident credibility
- Support marketing efforts by assisting in online, direct mail and other marketing campaigns
- Expertly navigate on the phones to make contact with key decision makers
- Become a trusted member of the Ceribell sales team
- Consistently follow up on all leads
- Meet or exceed all activity metrics assigned
- Consume all internal training to maintain strong product knowledge, high-level subject matter expertise, and key differentiators over competitors
- Build strong relationships with prospects and drive new logo meetings within your territory
- Collaborate with your Ceribell sales team to achieve successful prospect outcomes
- Develop your social profile and reach as a successful modern seller
- Deliver predictable performance and results on lead follow up
Qualifications
- Inside lead generation – remote customer interaction experience
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience cold calling in a high-tech or MEDTECH
- Effective combination of both selling skills, business and technical acumen
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Quick to learn new concepts and technology along with thriving in a start-up environment
- Excellent verbal, written and analytical communication skills
- Experience in modern prospecting and account development techniques
- Comfortable and experienced with cold calling into C-Suite
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Ability to be a self-starter in a remote work environment
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple programs and initiatives simultaneously
