Position Summary:
Our Business Development Representatives are responsible for cultivating new business relationships with executive stakeholders at organizations actively looking to improve their supply chain capabilities. We focus on driving value, organization, and market differentiation to enrich the prospects early-stage sales cycle experience until they have matured into active opportunities for Account Executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and set net-new conversations in accounts that are actively exploring help for supply chain projects
- Lead and facilitate intro calls to collect relevant project details to share with sales leadership to organize a sales pursuit
- Conduct effective discovery on inbound leads to disqualify or move forward in sales cycle
- Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, and Marketing on Event and Tradeshow outreach strategies and execute effectively
- Build a professional network with supply chain executives to nurture and cultivate relationships not actively in sales cycles for education and engagement until they are ready to begin a buy cycle
- Leverage CRM, AEs, and sales leadership to identify cross-sell opportunities within existing client database
- Participate and contribute to Monthly BD/Sales Forecasting Meetings
- Participate in planned weekly / monthly education to enhance skills across the array ofenVistaServices and Solutions
- Consistently refine and maintain contact/account database to support focused campaigns and outbound activity
- Create Self-Development plans to grow in solution knowledge, sales skills, and overall professional growth
- Build strong working relationships with sales, marketing, and delivery to ensure effective team selling on sales pursuits
- Identify any areas of improvement or refinement in current systems and sales process to share with leadership
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-4 years of business development, sales development, or sales experience; experience within a Supply Chain environment would be beneficial
- Previous business development experience with Microsoft Solutions would also be beneficial
- Must be competent with sales outreach platforms such as: CRM (Microsoft is a plus),Outreach, HubSpot, ZoomInfo,andLinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly Driven and adaptable while being accountable to growth and self-development
- Critical thinking
- Collaborative Mindset/Team Player
- Must be detail-oriented and accurate
- Microsoft Office
- Candidates will preferably be based in Indianapolis but remote candidates are also strongly encouraged to apply
