We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Sales Team with the right energy, competitive spirit, personal drive, track record of success in sales, cold calling, and customer service skills. This position involves prospecting new clients, enrolling new clients in regards to our mobile lending services, and onboarding them throughout their journey with EasyPay . The Business Development Reps serves to understand the client's needs, educate them on how to meet these needs, and generate sales for the company as a result through generation of new enrollments.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed individual and team goals
  • Strategically prospect potential accounts in the desired industry, through cold calling and a variety of other selective sales methods
  • Prospect, onboard, and successfully transfer new merchants to our Inside Sales Team
  • Work strategically with Inside Sales Manager to drive new client enrollments while successfully guiding them through our mobile FinTech platform.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building sales pipelines in accordance with targets.
  • Keep informed of competition and industry trends
  • Use industry knowledge to develop new client bases, and implement new prospecting strategies
  • Persuasively sell EasyPay clients on making EasyPay their exclusive payment option from start to finish.

Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to grow new accounts, and successfully onboard them for efficient transfer to the Inside Sales team.
  • Strong phone presence and ability to meet call requirements
  • Strong collaboration and social skills
  • A proven track record of sales, preferably tele prospecting and or B2B
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be self-motivated, hard-working, organized, and coachable.
  • PC literacy [Office 365: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint]
  • 1-2 years experience BDR role preferably, or other self-driven sales prospecting role.
  • Virtual Presentation skills, a plus
