We are looking for a Business Development Representative to support Altium’s global sales, customer success, and marketing teams. Think of this role as a third sales, a-third marketing, a-third customer success, and all-in awesomeness. The mission of this key team member is to drive insights and help deliver the execution plan to achieve product market-fit in strategic applications of our Platform.
A Day in The Life of Our Business Development Representative:
This is a position for someone who seeks an exciting, fast paced, and always moving forward team and company. You will bridge between sales, CSM, and marketing each day and ensure we are making a difference in the company.
- Coordinating with GTM leadership to define sales campaign initiatives
- Qualifying and producing quality leads for assigned to appropriate CSM or Account Executive
- Interacting by phone and email with key personnel up to, and including, Directors and VPs
- Analyzing target company needs, determining requirements and ascertaining potential solutions
- Working on ad hoc projects for various departments within the organization
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position
- Bachelor’s degree: English, business, and marketing majors preferred.
- Intellectual curiosity about all thing engineering is extremely important
- 1-2 years of working experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Team player with strong intrapersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
- Desire to work in tech industry with a growing company
- Creative and strategic thinker.
- Foreign languages are a plus.

The salary range for this role is ($43.5-$60k plus commission plan). Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
