Business Development Senior Associate

The RoleIEQ Capital is looking for a motivated professional to join our Foster City-based team as a Business Development Senior Associate. The Business Development Senior Associate plays a critical role in supporting the New Business Desk in sourcing new business, liquidity events, qualified leads and more while presenting this information to the teams. This role is essential to organizing the data on the ever-changing market and ensuring the teams are fully up to speed on all relevant opportunities. The Business Development Senior Associate will have the opportunity to work closely with, and learn from, the team and Senior Leadership. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deep dive into daily deals across the United States to gather intelligence on deals >$1b and to generate potential prospects for Executives to pursue
- Identify trending companies and potential UHNW individuals associated with those companies for IEQ Partners and CEOs to pursue
- Develop analytics to identify future high-value opportunities through research
- Support Business Development efforts of the IEQ Capital Partners and supporting them in various ad hoc processes
- Analyze all aspects of the Business Development effort (including large data sets in Salesforce) to determine which avenue generates the most success
- Manage all inbound inquiries from our IEQ Capital website
- Support practice management in all aspects of the sales cycle, including scheduling follow-up meetings, managing administrative elements, and overseeing the pipeline of completed meetings to ensure all prospective clients are being contacted throughout the year.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Candidate must thrive in and be able to keep up with an ever-changing, fast paced environment
- High-level of integrity and humility
- Must be able to think critically, effectively, and anticipate needs and issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience owning projects & initiatives while delegating responsibilities as needed is a plus
- Must have high attention to detail in all aspects of the role, work quickly and accurately
- Must be self-directed and able to work with individuals at all levels, including executive management
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Compensation: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on skills and experience
