Role
 
We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to join the Candid™ team to help us build a best-in-class orthodontics-as-a-service brand. You are an enthusiastic sales and marketing person who is passionate about establishing new B2B relationships with dentists and orthodontists. You will often serve as the initial point of contact from Candid and therefore, will be an ambassador of the brand and our clear aligner products. You will be an important part of a hard-working, winning team.   

What You’ll Do 
  • Manage a pipeline of qualified national leads where you will engage prospective dentists, orthodontists and/or their teams about the CandidPro clear aligner solution
  • Own the initial sales process, starting with engagement, through answering basic product and company questions, to pitching and signing the account prior to transferring to an Account Executive
  • Collaborate with Area Sales Directors and Account Executives in respective geographies to develop acquisition strategies
  • Through elite training, you will develop top sales skills, gain extensive industry knowledge, learn to think in new ways about the customers experience and journey  
  • Track account progress through each stage of the sales process
  • Help develop new processes in a startup environment that helps drive efficiency and productivity
 
 
What You’ll Need
  • 2-3 years of sales experience or equivalent
  • Sales focused and customer-centric: passionate about helping customers and driving revenue for the business
  • Self-motivated, driven to succeed, and competitive
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fast learner, team player, with the ability to adapt to change quickly
  • Creative problem solver
  • The ability to stay on schedule and follow daily cadences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Experience with a CRM system, Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with video conferencing, Zoom preferred
