Raymond West is looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist to join our team! This role drives customer success by making data more accessible to the customer. The Business Services Specialist performs an in-depth analysis of customer data and presents these findings, to meet the goals of the customer and to improve warehouse operations. Works closely with internal and external customers by providing information and problem resolution using independent judgment and discretion. Advises management regarding pre- and post-sales activities of units built, leases, parts, services, etc. Leads high level professional teams on projects to develop rapport with customers to enhance service provided and encourage repeat business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist high-level management teams of large corporations with coaching, behavior modification, and change management strategies.
  • Provide coordinated support with our business partners to ensure customers maximize the return on their investment.
  • Meet with customer virtually or on onsite to review fleet data and drive positive trends to support customer business management goals.
  • Must attend technical design sessions regarding telematics and warehouse optimization solutions for the customer.
  • Build relationships with customers and provide tailored services, identifying opportunities for future business.
  • Must take initiative to identify new technologies and provide recommendations to leadership for personnel development.
  • Practice continuous improvement with their own work as well as assisting with customer's operations.
  • Special projects defined by your manager in support of the department and this position's competencies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Organizational Time Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software
  • Experience using SQL databases and BI Tools is preferred.
  • Capable of drafting optimization/process improvement procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups and customers.
  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with customers, employees, Co-workers, and leadership.
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required.
  • Ability and aptitude to learn new technologies.

Education/Experience:

Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position

  • Preferred: bachelor's degree or equivalent to 5 years in similar industry with a focus on Fleet Analytics, or related data analysis.

Travel Requirement:

  • 10% or less (4 hours a week)
  • Must be able to be insured by Raymond West.

  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range:

  • The salary range for this position is $64,480 - $108,800. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
