Nokia IGNITE is a value driven digital ecosystem program within the Business Applications business unit, within Cloud and Network Services. Nokia IGNITE brings together customers and partners into communities to accelerate value creation through collaboration. The program's objectives are to develop new solutions from the integration of Nokia CNS Business Application products with complementary software partners, expose the unique value propositions of our products, and drive new business growth.

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for a bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Business and IT, Business Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Business and Technology Management or other related fields or related field with an accredited school in US.

What you will learn and contribute to

Your role is to identify, communicate with and onboard the most innovative new startups in the world to the program. This includes online and offline research of startups, planning and attending startup scouting events, and meeting and evaluating startups as well as onboarding and supporting start-ups towards successful joint solution launch with our product teams.

As part of our team, you will:

• Gain experience at working with and collaborating with startups for value creation through innovative business models
• Conduct market research on the specific trends and upcoming technologies in relevant industries
• Manage conversations with founders from all over the world to determine their fit to articulated usecases and innovation thesis
• Assess and analyze start-ups to achieve a match between startups, use cases and the customers business outcomes
• Work with online productivity tools and start-up databases
• Onboard partners and start-ups to the program using Nokia agreements and processes

You are:

• Strong in both written and verbal communication, global mindset driven, comfortable working with colleagues of diverse nationalities, business cultures and backgrounds, based across the world
• Passionate and enthusiastic about innovation and the international start-up ecosystem and eager to become part of it
• Engaged, with a proactive approach to work and learning; able to take initiative to improve yourself as well as processes and people around you.

It would be nice if you also have:

• Knowledge of platform and ecosystem business models
• Partner management experience
• Strong understanding of the communications market, trends, and competition
• Experience with APIs, API development and business models
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (CaaS, PaaS, etc.) to understand how to leverage hyperscale technologies to develop ecosystem enablement tools
• Up to speed with the newest technology trends and industry relevant tech startups
