As a key contributor to the Business Development team at Resideo, your primary objective is to deliver evaluation of new business cases and actionable research / data to shape our business development strategy and help execute on Resideo's revenue growth goals. Your work will inform prioritization of new channel opportunities, key partnerships and potential M&A, and help drive overall direction for Resideo's products & solutions platform.

This position combines the role of a business analyst and a revenue growth / sales strategist. You will work highly cross-functionally, partnering closely with sales, product, marketing and finance leaders to size new opportunities, map out product value propositions by channel, and track potential strategic partners. This will be a highly visible role to senior leadership and there is significant room for career development and growth.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Develop market analyses and business models evaluating new growth channels / service opportunities and value propositions for customers.
  • Profile and track potential strategic partners that can add to Resideo's overall platform within different channels.
  • Assist in developing business development plans and deal investment theses and presenting to internal / external counterparties.
  • Be expected to be able to conduct your own research and manage research conducted by others.
  • Drive decisions related to target customers, feature set and prioritization, positioning, messaging, category/market expansion, and market white space opportunities.
  • Work closely with a range of cross-functional partners, including Product and Marketing Managers to develop business development strategies.
  • Present findings and work internally to leadership and externally to third parties.
  • Instill a culture of channel / customer-centricity across the company.

YOU MUST HAVE:
  • BA / BS degree from a top academic institution
  • Prior work experience in management consulting, investment banking, consumer research or related field.
  • Demonstrated business, analytical, prioritization, and planning skills; strong overall business case spreadsheet modelling and presentation building skills.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and external parties.
  • Any new hire for this position must be vaccinated for COVID-19 by their start date with Resideo, subject to any prohibitions or exceptions under state or local law.

  • Salary Range: Resideo provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado, as required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and the specific office location. The expected salary range for this role is $65,990 - $109,983. The salary range for these same positions may be lower or higher in markets outside of Colorado.
