The Business Development Support Manager will work closely with the Senior Business Development Executives and all members of the Business Development team to support the company's business development initiatives; coordinate procedures and initiatives for the new business review process; lead the inside sales efforts and provide crucial support for sales executives and leadership.

Essential Job Functions

Strategic Planning: Support 3-year strategic plan by leading projects to assess new verticals, prospects or other opportunities. Accountable for developing readiness assessment for new growth verticals; including identifying product, capability and service gaps.

Manage New Business Pipeline: Directly responsible for managing the Business Development pipeline by identifying leads and new business opportunities through management of inside sales team (Intrep), inbound owned channels and support at industry events. Demonstration of effective selling strategies and techniques to attract new client prospects.

Proposal Development: Develop and obtain from internal subject matter experts proposal responses positioning Bread Financial as the preferred partner. Manage proposal deliverables and timelines.

New Business Review Process: Coordinate and facilitate New Business Review process, align resources, coordinate virtual technology efforts and support sales executives as needed to ensure successful overview of new prospect clients to the Executive members of the organization.

Reporting & Analysis: Manage pipeline reporting/activity trackers, coordinates with implementation team to slot launches for new brand partners and monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and related material. Responsible for providing enterprise recurring and non-reoccurring Business Development reporting.

Business Liaison: Acts as key liaison between Business Development and the Marketing, Product, Operations and Data Science Centers of Excellence.

Risk Management Oversight: Primary contact for enterprise risk management to ensure that new business process is in compliance with regulatory requirements, and is the primary resource for examinations by regulating bodies to provide requested information and materials.

Reports to: Vice President, Business Development

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:

Normal office environment, some travel will include Sales Calls, industry conferences and participation in events at corporate office.

Direct Reports: No direct reports, manages business relationship with inside sales team (Intrep)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.

Five or more years experience in Marketing, Sales or related field, with experience supporting Business Development teams desired.

Preferred Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field

Eight or more years experience supporting Business Development/Sales teams in the credit card sales environment. Experience in building new client pipelines by identifying leads and new business opportunities through third party, networking, industry events, or other channels.

Typical Starting Range:

$95,900.00 - $173,900.00

Full Salary Range for position:

California:$110,400.00 - $217,400.00

Colorado:$95,900.00 - $182,600.00

New York:$105,500.00 - $217,400.00

Washington:$100,700.00 - $200,100.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.

Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial's 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safety Time per calendar year at the beginning of each year and is prorated in the associate's first year of employment.

Hired associates will be able to elect to purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
