Position Title: Business Domain Lead

Position Location: Florist Tower, 5757 N Green Bay Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53209

Days / Hours: Mon - Fri / 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Summary of Duties: This role is a specialized role within the Clarios Data and Analytics Team. Understand source systems, data created by each source system and define the rules as to how data is transformed (ETL - Extract Transform Load) through various layers of Clarios Data Architecture from staging to semantic layers. Identify and recognize as a subject matter expert by business stakeholders for key areas of assignment such as supply chain and logistics or finance. Serve as SME for functional areas and collaborate with analytics delivery team in solution delivery of analytics work products. Assess the risks of solution options and recommend alternatives to mitigate. Ability to lead scrum ceremonies. Maintain appropriate documentation, requirements traceability and configurations. Ensure data storage adheres to record retention policies. Ensure adherence to enterprise scaled data modeling standards and best practices of structuring data. Integrate quality practices in all aspects of delivery. Audit work products to ensure data quality and sustainability of the solution. Responsible for defining, authoring, and validation of user stories ensuring the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements. Manage data lineage documentation throughout the lifecycle of the asset including S2T (Source to Target) mapping and conceptual data flows. Define data reconciliation processes to ensure ongoing quality as assets are deployed into production environments. Identify opportunities for data re-use across functional areas and lower cost to serve. Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends on emerging opportunities proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) PL/SQL and DML tools. Write complex SQL queries across disparate datasets in order to harmonize information across various business.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field of study and 8 years of experience in a Business, Data or Master Data Analyst role with a focus on Data Governance and Business Intelligence.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

1) Perform data analysis, prototyping and impact analysis leveraging SQL, PL/SQL and DML tools, demonstrating advanced proficiency;

2) Demonstrate proficiency with PowerBI, Business Objects, Snowflake & Azure;

3) Demonstrate ability to build and leverage business domain expertise across multiple complex business functional areas to drive successful project and data governance activities;

4) Regularly perform in-depth impact analysis, data quality management and governance activities; and

5) Apply knowledge of systems, data architecture and business requirements to identify issues and challenges while developing solutions to meet the business need.
