Business Enablement Program Manager

Job Family and Group: Customer

Reports to: Christopher Ruley, Director Customer Care

Location: Indianapolis, IN

As a Business Enablement Program Manager, you will lead efforts that deliver improvement to the effectiveness of customer care to serve customers. Efforts will range in responsibility and scope and will include working with teams across AES to ensure that customer care is progressing toward its stated goals. The ideal project leader will have demonstrated experience leading strategic initiatives that grow performance and demonstrates a high degree of working through others.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develops and influences programs/processes that ensure performance and business goals are met for the digital customer portfolio
  • Performs root cause analysis and identifies opportunities to improve the effectiveness of customer care, works with Customer Care leaders and data analyst teams to test and implement improvements while monitoring performance
  • Develops, monitors and maintains an improvement work stream that meets customer care objectives to advance both the employee and customer experience, establishes governance and oversight
  • Leads program development efforts with internal stakeholders, partners with digital and other teams to ensure efforts and needs of customer care are represented and progressing within project plans
  • Researches, plans and orchestrates new technology and enhancements to the customer and employee experience that aligns to the outcomes of customer care, works with director to incorporate into customer care planning

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of recent verifiable experience in one or more of the following areas: Project Planning and Development, Project Management, Business Analysis, Test Design, Strategic Initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in the English language.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to quickly adapt to changing business needs
  • Must be results oriented, self-motivated, and able to make decision with a minimum of direct supervision
  • Prior experience dealing with sensitive and/or confidential information

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in business or communications desired, equivalent demonstrated experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • High School Diploma required.
