Business Immigration Analyst (Legal Writer)

Job Description

Fragomen is immediately hiring a Business Immigration Analyst (Paralegal/Writer).

The Business Immigration Analyst (Paralegal/Writer) will have prior experience with EB-1A, EB-1B, NIW, or O-1 writing experience. They will be skilled at translating complex supporting documents into accessible, compelling, and relevant content for "alien with extraordinary ability" cases.

Duties include drafting government forms, writing detailed persuasive letters, maintaining files, reviewing documents, identifying issues, and communicating with clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform intake of cases once assigned.
• Writing detailed persuasive letters.
• Analyzing and summarizing published works of candidates.
• Drafting government forms, writing detailed persuasive letters, maintaining files, reviewing documents, identifying issues, and communicating with clients.
• Create case strategy and work closely with members of the legal team to ensure the accuracy of all information.
• Working independently and managing multiple writing projects simultaneously.
• Maintain client contact information.
• Provide status updates.
• File documents in proper order.
• Update case management system.
• Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications.
• Build knowledge of Firm and client processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree or Paralegal Certification

• Strong writing and research skills: Prior EB-1A, EB-1B, NIW, or O-1 writing experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work at fast pace under tight deadlines
