About the role
As a Business Information Analyst, you will report to AIG Direct and the Analytics and Reporting manager, where you will work alongside other talented, highly motivated individuals, committed to providing high quality, data-centric solutions to our internal and external stakeholders.
The Business Information Analyst's contribution will be central to the success of the marketing and sales teams, at AIG Direct. With large and ever-expanding datasets at your fingertips, you'll have the opportunity to develop business intelligence that will directly impact the organization.
In this role you will:
- Work directly with business leaders and Subject Matter Experts to create business intelligence products that drive organizational performance and continuous improvement.
- Develop and expand your skills in data analytics and engineering with access to enterprise databases, workflows, and technology.
- Validate, track and report on business KPI's to business leaders.
- Provide analysis and solutions for internal queries related to enterprise reporting.
What we are looking for
- 1+ years of experience
- A successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, ability to communicate to high level stakeholders, ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines as well as document their work.
- Technical skills in BI tools such as Qlik and Tableau are necessary, knowledge of SQL, Excel, Access and other MS Office products are required.
- Knowledge of other scripting languages such as R and Python, are preferred.
- This role would suit candidates that have limited exposure to enterprise-scale analytics, but are eager to develop their skills, knowledge, and experience in data analytics.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required in business or quantitative field (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analysis, Computer Science).
- Master's degree preferred.
