Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Overview:
The Business Intelligence Analyst is primarily responsible for delivering and supporting business intelligence projects, Database Management and Reporting of data related to sales, customers and pricing.

In this function you will:
- Develop and own internally facing data products from ideation through launch
- Proactively identify and act upon opportunities for new BI solutions, data processes, governance, and quality to ensure delivery of consistent and actionable data and insights to decision makers
- Lead and support cross functional teams to streamline reporting practices and reduce duplication of efforts
- Collaborate with data engineering team to translate requirements, design data models, and facilitate development of efficient, self-service BI solutions
- Conduct complex root cause analysis on business problems, synthesizing insights and developing clear and concise recommendations
- Standardize marketing tools and identify ways to use existing data in new and more productive ways.
- Research segment and market trends and competitive analysis to support build out of segment strategies
- Prepare reports and presentations on analyses through concise and clear messaging

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business or Economics
- 2+ years of commercial experience
- 1+ years of experience - BI platforms (Power Platform is a plus) or relational databases
- Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Python and R is a plus)
- Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen
- Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
- Inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management
- No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of one of the following cities to be considered: Syracuse, NY; Highland, IL; Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; or Fontana, CA
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

- Manufacturing industry experience
