Job Description

This position reports to the IT Business Solutions Manager, and works closely with Phillips and Temro managers throughout the company. Working out of our Headquarters in our Eden Prairie location, this position is responsible for the creation and implementation of business intelligence (reports, dashboards, automations) and data analysis best practices on a global basis. Analyzes business data to identify business trends and determine focus areas. Serves as an informed source for building, deploying, and maintaining scalable and flexible business intelligence solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with business areas to ensure strategic use of Microsoft 365 Platform.
  • Implement, develop, maintain and/or update BI tools, databases, dashboards, systems, processes, workflows, or methods.
  • Transform existing solutions to new methodology and technology. Focus on establishing data frameworks, roadmaps, and related activities.
  • Participate in improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability, and value.
  • Perform statistical analysis, build predictive models, and formulate decision models that relate to operational activities to find opportunities for financial and quality improvement.
  • Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights for business departments.
  • Organize and participate in project planning activities to identify and document application requirements and develop organizational models, policies and procedures governing distribution and usage of BI applications.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPI's) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those.
  • Identify and facilitate training opportunities.
  • Works within Microsoft Office 365 Sharepoint, Teams, Power Automate, PowerBI, Canvas Apps, Power Apps Suite, and has familiarity with Modern Workspace components of 365.
  • Ability to Create/Edit/Maintain complex Power Automate workflows, and Forms
  • Provide technical support for internal clients as needed through the existing helpdesk system related to BI tools, dashboards, systems, processes, workflows, or methods

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 products, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Sharepoint & Power BI
  • Must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and dedicated.
  • Evident problem solving skills and strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to analyze mass quantities of data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work with a variety of management styles
  • Proficient analytical skills including ability to identify trends and make recommendations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience solving complex challenges individually and in teams
  • Ability to establish goals, structure and processes

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years experience working in a relevant role working specifically with data and the analysis of data including Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint and Power Automate.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Demonstrated mastery and advanced use of Excel, as well as competence in databases and other MS Office applications.
