Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Description
At Path we work on state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and sensors to make industrial robots intelligent. Our transformative technology, like our robotic welding system, enables hardware to do more with less human input.
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the development and implementation of reporting and dashboarding solutions to provide visibility and enhance analytics engagement across the company. You will report to the Director of Business Intelligence and will join a team of dedicated, supportive, and enthusiastic analytics professionals to help build a data-driven culture at Path Robotics. Our tech stack includes Tableau, Fivetran, DBT, Databricks and Airtable. We are a primarily onsite organization and are looking for candidates who are able to work on premise 3+ days a week.
What You'll Do:
- Design engaging and interactive dashboards with a focus on user interaction and user experience to increase adoption and engagement
- Understand business requirements and processes to develop requirements and functional specifications for data resources
- Conduct quality and user acceptance testing and own implementation and training for new data resources
- Understand the product, marketing and sales strategies to be able to curate and report back on meaningful insights and proactively provide strategic recommendations
- Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design
- Maintain reporting environment to ensure consistency and drive analytics standardization across all areas of reporting
- Review and providing feedback for improving existing data sources for increased efficiency as well as integrating new systems as they become available
Who You Are:
- You have 3+ years of experience in business intelligence in a startup or high-tech company
- You have 2+ of experience designing and developing complex dashboards
- You have demonstrated ability in UI, UX space using a combination of user interface tools such as wire frames, prototypes, mock-ups, or white boarding to illustrate product usability
- You have experience writing complex SQL queries to build data sources
- You have experience working directly with business partners to capture and validate functional requirements and provide design specifications
