As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will lead conversations to understand business opportunities, understand the data required and build interactive dashboard and reporting solutions. You will work with wide range marketing professionals, a rich ecosystem of data and a deep arsenal of tools to help get the job done. You will be an integral part of the Enterprise Analytics team reporting to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Analytics in1800Flowers, Inc. You will be a key enabler driving data driven decision making through elegant and thought full dashboards and consultative prowess.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and internal team members to identify gaps opportunities of analysis that are needed to generate business insights/value
• Understand our customer using existing data and predictive models, translating findings into tools marketers can leverage every day
• Piece together the data while performing exploratory analysis, and determine the best way to visually drive insights/value
• Build dynamic dashboards that can easily be utilized to answer many questions
• Present insights, recommendation, and training to various groups including key executives
• When needed, design and develop proofs-of-concept to demonstrate potential
• Conduct and coordinate UI/UX user acceptance testing of dashboards and reports
• Continuously iterate on existing dashboards to maximize value as business needs change

Requirements

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

• Experience working with BI tools to provide self-serve information to partners and business units is required, and experience in relational modeling tools like AtScale, SSAS, or PowerBI is preferred
• Experience developing data visualizations and effective storytelling via platforms is required, and experience in Tableau is preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, marketing, or relevant field /or equivalent experience
• Experience proficiency in SQL is required, and experience in SAS and Snowflake is preferred
• Experience in data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems
• Exceptional analytical skills with a background in statistical and modeling techniques
• 5+ years working with databases for analysis, reporting and dashboards
• Strong communication skills and experience presenting
• Self-motivated Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously
